Wild

Wild, a public art installation near a pathway along Silver Lake in Tallahassee, Florida.
Created for Linda Hall's Creative Inquiry class.

This drawing is an oldie but a goodie, first seen here.

Noctopus

Name credit to CJ Willard. I've been really obsessing over these graceful, underwater creatures lately. The textures and patterns within them are really unbelievable. Interesting fact: an Octopus has three hearts and it can squeeze through a hole the size of a 10-cent coin. (www.interestingfacts.org)

Valentine's Day

This drawing was for a Valentine's Day project in my Drawing II class. We were supposed to keep far, far away from the cliches of love and Valentine's Day like x's and o's and big, red hearts. I had a very happy concept in mind for this, but the class saw a much darker, sadder meaning within it. Tell me what you think.
