Cocoon Spotlight

I  never shared any detail shots of the singular pieces from Colony, but these are some of my favorites.  They were from the soda kiln fall semester that Kim, Michelle, and I were in charge of.  They are made from Zela, Aurora, and Helios porcelain- fired to cone 10 with flashing slips and such.  My little treasures.  They deserve a shout out.

Helios porcelain molars tied into soda-fired Helios nests with embroidery thread. Measuring from 1.5" to 2" each.

These are photographs of both of my grandmothers on my desk. I love them both so much. The frame was super cheap at Michael's and the jewelry box was a deal at one of my favorite thrift stores, The Other Side Vintage at Railroad Square.
