Well, since I such a lovely day at work and got some semi-decent shots from around Norfolk, I figured that I would bore you with the play-by-play.
I followed Karen to her studio in the mountains in Norfolk, CT, where I then proceeded to sweat my butt off cutting branches for a bonfire. Then we arranged her showroom thing for her show tomorrow.
Then her father graciously gave us a mini tour, including Dennis Hill, where one can look out over the mountains and see Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. We also saw a castle and a mansion, just a regular day.
Then Karen and I headed into downtown where we explored many old buildings, including the Norfolk Library (my new favorite place), as well as the Yale School of Music and Art. Suhweet. I will be going there again. So many super cool talented kids hanging out on the porches of their mini houses/dorms.
The only way to finish of this lovely Connecticut day was to, of course, go to Infinity Hall-- an old opera house revamped into a concert hall and restaurant-- for lobster rolls looking out over the main road and brainstorming artsy ideas.
Great day, my friends.

This is where super hip Yale art kids sit and philosophize about art, culture, etcetera.

Only the best library in the world.
