These are some pictures of ten pinch pots that I made in the beginning of the semester in ceramics class. Some are very ugly, but there are a couple that I love. Obviously they were hand-built. I used a lot of different experimental methods including wax resist, sponging away terra cotta, using white slip, underglazing and glazing, and scgraffito.

Texture created using a loop tool. Turquoise and chartreuse underlaze on the exterior. Turquoise and chartreuse underglaze and Worthington's clear glaze on the interior. |

Jet black underglaze and Worthington's clear glaze on both the exterior and interior. Scgraffito on exterior. Wax resist and wiped-away terra cotta revealing grog on interior. |
 |
Starry Night-esque. Many blues and straw underglazes as well as Worthington's clear glaze on interior and exterior. Pressed in holes create an opposite effect, scgraffito on rim, and stipple effect on exterior. |
