I have begun my new project for Experimental Drawing, which I hope can be incorporated into stuff I will show for BFA entrance. It's called "Comfort Reality". Something about what makes you comfortable, what is reality, yada yada. That's all I really got from the explanation.
Anyway.
I have been so homesick lately. And, even though I will be back in Clearwater tomorrow (hooray!!), I still want to focus on home and the things I love about it. I am doing Micron pen drawings on old children's books, most of which I read when I was a kiddy. Portraits of my family, Kitten and Bella of course, and other things that I love... art, my chair, birds, and wine. Duh.
So.
Super pumped about this little project. Actually, not so little. Not so pumped about it being due next Thursday when I have George's humungous midterm project to present on Monday (I am a quarter of the way done... later post about that) and a Wangechi Mutu presentation for this class due on Tuesday.
Ahh, midterm days...
